Details
Rosedale is a typey male in an unusual, eye-catching color. His sire is Irish Meadows Peruvian Knight Rider, a 15X halter champion and Futurity reserve color champion. Knight Rider sired only a handful of greys before his untimely death in 2014, making Rosedale a rare combination indeed. Knight Rider stamped his get with his square, boxy frame and impeccable conformation, and Rosedale inherited those perfectly.

Rosedale's dam sire is multi-champion MFI Peruvian Zoolander, also no longer breeding. Zoolander is almost certainly responsible for Rosedale's solid rose coloration, as his was the same. Zoolander also carried the rare harlequin gene from his dam, My Peruvian Zulieka. As Rosedale's coloring is so similar to Zoolander's, it would be possible to produce a harlequin. To date he has produced beautiful offspring.
